Composition: Cefixime 200mg + Ofloxacin 200mg

WAHFIX-O is a broad-spectrum antibiotic tablet that combines Cefixime, a third-generation cephalosporin, and Ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. This dual-action formulation provides effective treatment for bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis and DNA replication, preventing the growth and spread of infection.

Indications:

WAHFIX-O is prescribed for the treatment of various bacterial infections, including:

Respiratory Tract Infections – Bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis, and pharyngitis
Urinary Tract Infections (UTI)
Gastrointestinal Infections – Diarrhea, dysentery, and typhoid fever
Skin & Soft Tissue Infections
Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) – Gonorrhea and other bacterial STIs

Mode of Action:

Cefixime (200mg): Inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial lysis and death.
Ofloxacin (200mg): Disrupts bacterial DNA replication, preventing their growth and spread.

Dosage & Administration:

As prescribed by the physician.
Usually taken once or twice daily with or without food.
Swallow the tablet whole with water.

Precautions & Warnings:

Avoid in patients allergic to cephalosporins or fluoroquinolones.
