Description

Composition:
Each OGICAST-M tablet contains:

• Montelukast 10 mg
• Levocetirizine 5 mg

OGICAST-M is a combination medication that provides effective relief from allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis, hay fever, and chronic urticaria. Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, helps in controlling inflammation and airway constriction, making it useful for respiratory allergies and asthma management. Levocetirizine, a non-sedating antihistamine, works by blocking histamine receptors to reduce symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, and itching.

Indications:

• Allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial)
• Chronic urticaria (hives)
• Asthma management (as an adjunct therapy)
• Other allergic conditions involving the respiratory system and skin

Dosage & Administration:

• As directed by a healthcare professional.
• Generally taken once daily, with or without food.

Precautions & Warnings:

• Use with caution in patients with kidney impairment.
• May cause drowsiness in some individuals.
• Avoid alcohol consumption while using this medication.
• Not recommended for children below 12 years unless prescribed by a doctor.
