Ogipod-CV D/Syrup is a broad-spectrum antibiotic formulation designed for pediatric use, effectively treating a range of bacterial infections. The combination of Cefpodoxime, a third-generation cephalosporin, and Potassium Clavulanate, a beta-lactamase inhibitor, enhances the potency of Cefpodoxime by inhibiting the bacterial resistance mechanisms. This makes it an ideal choice for treating various bacterial infections in children.
Key Benefits:
✅ Cefpodoxime (50mg): Targets and kills bacteria by interfering with their cell wall synthesis, effective against a wide variety of bacterial infections.
✅ Potassium Clavulanate (31.25mg): Protects Cefpodoxime from being broken down by beta-lactamase enzymes produced by resistant bacteria, increasing its effectiveness.
Indications:
🔹 Respiratory tract infections (e.g., pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis)
🔹 Ear infections (otitis media)
🔹 Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
🔹 Skin and soft tissue infections
🔹 Throat infections (e.g., tonsillitis, pharyngitis)
