Composition (per 5ml after reconstitution):
Amoxicillin – 200mg
Clavulanic Acid – 28.5mg

Axelog-CV D/Syp is a pediatric antibiotic suspension designed for the effective treatment of bacterial infections in children. The combination of Amoxicillin, a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic, and Clavulanic Acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor, enhances the drug’s effectiveness against resistant bacterial strains. This formulation is ideal for treating respiratory, ear, throat, urinary, and skin infections in children.

Key Benefits:

Amoxicillin (200mg): Kills a wide range of bacteria by preventing their cell wall formation.
Clavulanic Acid (28.5mg): Inhibits bacterial resistance, making Amoxicillin more effective.

Indications:

🔹 Bacterial infections of the respiratory tract (tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia)
🔹 Ear infections (otitis media)
🔹 Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
🔹 Skin and soft tissue infections
🔹 Dental infections

Dosage & Administration:

  • As prescribed by a pediatrician.
  • Usually taken twice daily after meals to minimize stomach discomfort.
  • Shake well before use.

Precautions:

  • Complete the full course of antibiotics, even if symptoms improve.
  • May cause mild diarrhea; consult a doctor if it persists.
  • Not recommended in children with penicillin allergies.
  • Use within the prescribed period after reconstitution.

Storage:

  • Store in a cool place (2°C-8°C) after reconstitution.
  • Discard any unused portion after 7 days.
