Description
Composition:
Each capsule/tablet of LOGIPAN-DSR contains:
- Pantoprazole (40 mg) – A proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid production.
- Domperidone (30 mg) (Sustained Release) – A prokinetic agent that helps improve gastric motility and prevents nausea and vomiting.
Indications:
LOGIPAN-DSR is primarily used for the treatment of:
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
- Acid reflux and heartburn
- Peptic ulcers
- Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
- Nausea and bloating due to delayed gastric emptying
Mechanism of Action:
- Pantoprazole inhibits the proton pump in the stomach lining, reducing acid production and preventing damage to the esophagus and stomach lining.
- Domperidone blocks dopamine receptors in the gut, improving movement in the digestive tract and reducing nausea and bloating.
Dosage & Administration:
- Typically taken once daily, preferably before meals, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
- Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew.
Precautions:
- Not recommended for long-term use without medical supervision.
- Avoid if you have severe liver or kidney impairment.
- Use with caution in patients with heart conditions or electrolyte imbalances.
Side Effects:
