Description

Composition:
Each capsule/tablet of LOGIPAN-DSR contains:

  • Pantoprazole (40 mg) – A proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid production.
  • Domperidone (30 mg) (Sustained Release) – A prokinetic agent that helps improve gastric motility and prevents nausea and vomiting.

Indications:
LOGIPAN-DSR is primarily used for the treatment of:

  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
  • Acid reflux and heartburn
  • Peptic ulcers
  • Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
  • Nausea and bloating due to delayed gastric emptying

Mechanism of Action:

  • Pantoprazole inhibits the proton pump in the stomach lining, reducing acid production and preventing damage to the esophagus and stomach lining.
  • Domperidone blocks dopamine receptors in the gut, improving movement in the digestive tract and reducing nausea and bloating.

Dosage & Administration:

  • Typically taken once daily, preferably before meals, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
  • Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew.

Precautions:

  • Not recommended for long-term use without medical supervision.
  • Avoid if you have severe liver or kidney impairment.
  • Use with caution in patients with heart conditions or electrolyte imbalances.

Side Effects:

  • Common: Headache, dizziness, dry mouth, diarrhea, or constipation.
  • Rare: Allergic reactions, irregular heartbeat, or severe abdominal pain (seek medical attention if these occur).
