Description
Composition:
Each film-coated tablet contains:
- Amoxicillin 500 mg
- Potassium Clavulanate 125 mg
- Lactic Acid Bacillus 60 Million
AXELOG-CV is a broad-spectrum antibiotic combination used to treat bacterial infections effectively. It contains Amoxicillin, a penicillin-class antibiotic that inhibits bacterial growth, and Potassium Clavulanate, a beta-lactamase inhibitor that enhances Amoxicillin’s effectiveness against resistant bacteria. Additionally, Lactic Acid Bacillus helps maintain gut health by restoring beneficial intestinal flora, reducing antibiotic-associated digestive disturbances.
Indications:
AXELOG-CV is prescribed for various bacterial infections, including:
- Respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis)
- Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Ear, nose, and throat infections
- Dental infections
Dosage & Administration:
- As directed by a physician.
- To be taken with food to enhance absorption and reduce stomach upset.
Precautions:
- Not suitable for patients with a known allergy to penicillins or cephalosporins.
- Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment.
- May cause mild gastrointestinal disturbances, which can be minimized with Lactic Acid Bacillus.
